Sara Blackmore joined ATKG in June of 2015. She graduated Summa Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, with a Finance concentration, from The University of Maine. Sara went on to receive a Master of Accountancy degree from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She brings significant experience in real estate, oil & gas, not-for-profits, professional services, and wealth management. In July 2019, Sara took a brief hiatus from professional life to travel in their renovated RV with her family. After five months on the road and a detour as Controller for a local family office, she found her way back to ATKG. After living 12 years in San Antonio, Sara now serves clients from Chattanooga, Tennessee. As a licensed CPA, Sara is a member of the AICPA, the TSCPA, and the SACPA. To deepen her level of exceptional client service, Sara obtained her Personal Financial Specialist certification in 2021.
A native of New England, Sara feels most at home in the mountains and will find an excuse to put maple syrup in just about anything she cooks. When she is not having fun solving complex tax issues, you can find her on her yoga mat, chasing after her son and daughter at the park, road-tripping, or daydreaming of being a farmer.
