Lila earned her bachelor’s in accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She then completed her Master of Accountancy in August 2015 at The University of Texas at San Antonio. After completing her degrees, Lila spent time at a Big 4 firm in California and then an Indiana-based local firm before joining ATKG in 2020. She has experience serving clients in manufacturing and distribution, construction, consumer services, retail, hospitality, and not-for-profit.
Lila served two terms on the Indiana CPA Society Leadership Council. Also, she devoted time to mentoring high school students interested in pursuing business in college and served on the audit committee for Second Helpings in Indianapolis, Indiana.
When it is time to reenergize, Lila can be found golfing, shopping, or spending quality time with family and friends. When asked about the perfect vacation, she immediately knew the Bahamas would be the place to be. There you will find her enjoying a beachfront property, listening to the gentle crashing of ocean waves, or enjoy water activities. After a great day on the beach, Lila thinks a frozen margarita or an ice-cold beer is a perfect finish, and we completely agree.
