Sarah joined ATKG in August 2017. She graduated from Texas A&M University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and went on to get a Master of Science degree with a focus in tax.
Sarah is originally from San Antonio, and after about three years of living in Houston, she was ready to move back. She is glad to be back in her hometown, where family and friends are in abundance. Her industry experience includes oil and gas; however, she enjoys working mostly on passthrough entities.
Sarah’s hobbies include scuba diving, snow skiing and dance (tap in particular – but enjoys all types of dance, even it just means dancing it out in the kitchen). Her scuba diving adventures have included a few places in the Caribbean. However, her plan is to explore the depths of a few more exotic places in the years to come. Her bucket list includes a ski adventure in the Swiss Alps (where she may be joined by several other ATKGers – she didn’t say that, but we’re not a shy group!).
The nerdier side of Sarah enjoys reading, particularly the Harry Potter series. This HP fan even visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Orlando right after it opened and would jump at any opportunity to go back! When not reading about and visiting those magical places, you can catch her listening to the Harry Potter audio books in her car (she’s “read” all seven books numerous times!).
