    ATKG Announces Its 2020 Promotions

    It’s been said “Ability is what you are capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. And attitude determines how well you do it.” At ATKG we believe in investing in each team member as they work to accomplish their professional goals and push themselves beyond the ordinary to reach for the extraordinary. It is with great pride that ATKG announces its 2020 promotions.

    Hayley Cornelius Almaraz, Senior Manager

    Hayley joined ATKG eight years ago as an intern and has since worked her way to Senior Manager. An alumna of The University of Texas at San Antonio, Hayley graduated Summa Cum Laude as a dual major in accounting and finance, and soon after received her Master of Accountancy as well as her CPA license. Hayley has experience across multiple industries, including real estate, oil & gas, personal and family offices, and farm & ranch. Hayley’s areas of focus are estate and succession planning and she is passionate about helping families transition from one generation to the next while maintaining the legacies they have worked so hard to build.

    Amanda Villarreal, Director

    Amanda joined ATKG after launching her career at a regional accounting firm. She graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Master of Business Administration in Taxation. She received her CPA license in 2018. Professionally, she has developed strong experience in professional services and personal and family offices. Amanda also serves as the lead for the firm’s personal development program, which incorporates Gallup’s CliftonStrengths®. The program focuses on knowing your unique talents, understanding the power of those talents, and applying them to your work and life to achieve desired goals and outcomes and respond to everyday situations.

    Lindsey Huesing, Senior

    Lindsey is a 2016 graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) where she received a Master of Science in Accountancy while playing middle infield for UIW’s softball team. She began her career with ATKG in the summer 2015 as an intern and has continued to impress us with her work ethic and team mentality ever since. Lindsey successfully received her CPA certification in November of 2019 and has made her mark on ATKG as a member of its State and Local Tax (SALT) team where she lends her expertise to clients with multi-state filing requirements .
